The brief/solution
Stefan Pannenbecker was the Vice President for Industrial Design at Nokia and Microsoft, where his job consists mostly of trying out a variety of crazy new ideas in search of the one or two that would help Nokia maintain its edge in design. Stefan was instrumental in positioning Nokia’s, and later Microsoft’s, devices and experiences.
After seven memorable years Stefan decided the time was right to move on. My team were tasked to design a parting gift for him.
We designed a simple identity that represented the different design studios globally and created a bespoke logotype working with our corporate typeface Nokia Pure.
This identity was then applied to a bespoke book and a keepsake wooden postcard with a thoughtful leaving message laser etched.
